1. Pierce a hole from the top of the tube.

2. Immerse the hole in pond water.

3. Fill the tube up to  3/4, shake lightly for a few times.

4. Put the tube on the color chart as shown and compare with the attached standard colors.

 

 

 Principle

Standard colors wear determined from standard solutions.   However, coexisting ions can modify reaction color.
